Leigh Alexander is one of my least favorite video game bloggers, due to various issues of pretentiousness and pomposity, but I think we’ve found some common ground here. I can’t stand the phrase, “It’s just a game.” Either games are silly, meaningless playthings, or else they can affect and move people - both positively and negatively. Nothing is “just”...
