In respect to your dreaming issue. Before the intense dreaming starts, do you go through periods of insomnia or just several nights of light sleeping? Do you take a sleep aid? If your brain is deprived REM sleep, it will compensate later with longer stretches of REM sleep when able. With you in longer than average lengths of REM sleep, you will have longer, more intense dreams.

Well, damn. I frequently deal with insomnia, and I do occasionally take sleep aids. I tend to nap a lot during the day to compensate for the lack of sleep I get at night. I think you might’ve just solved the problem. (Well, it’s not really a problem, per se. I kind of like intense dreams.) Thanks, man.
