One pointless thing to do when getting dressed is to make a not-joke, in this case to wear a tie that is boldly unpretty but which isn’t hilariously grotesque. To be, on purpose, neither attractive nor ironic. How should anyone react to this? With a mild pity that is quickly forgotten.
Chris Mohney, when he offered this tie, said that I was going to love the way I looked. He guaranteed it, in fact. And you know what? I do love the way I look. I love looking like an eager pre-frosh heading to a school-sponsored mixer. English or Poli Sci is what I’m thinking. Ha ha, yes, the cities we come from are very different. I’m pretty excited about some of the professors here—I hear you HAVE to take Alexei’s class. And so on. I love the way I look.
If you’re not following sexpigeon, you’re probably well-adjusted and dumb.
